Thank you to all of our members and their guests for patronizing the Apache Junction Elks Lodge and making it possible for us to keep giving back to the community.  We are adding a lot of new members to the Lodge every month and looking forward to meeting each and every one of you.

Again, just a reminder that to make everyone feel more comfortable coming into our Lodge, we have increased our cleaning efforts by sanitizing the bar, bar stools, each table and chairs after each use and deep cleaning every morning before we open.

This month we donated $2,500 to the local Veterans for them to use wherever they are needing help with.  It’s been really hard on them during this COVID crisis and every bit helps. With the help of everyone coming into the Lodge, we also continue to give to Children’s Charities.

I would like to remind everyone of the activities that we continue to have at the Lodge.

Every Thursday night at 7 pm is our Texas Hold’em Tournament.  Girls Night Out with Sue Dolan is the 3rd Tuesday of every month and this month it is on the 16th.  The theme is Mardi Gras and we will have beads for everyone.  The kitchen will be serving the traditional Jambalaya so come hungry.  Trivia is the 3rd Wednesday of every month and it will be on the 17th this month.  The PERs are having their annual Shrimp Boil on the 20th from 5 pm to 7 pm.  There is an RSVP signup sheet on the bulletin board by the kitchen door.  Please sign up so we know how many we will need to serve.  On February 27th, we will be having a live ELVIS show in the dining room from 5 pm to 9 pm.  This guy is awesome so come join us!

We also have live music every Saturday from 2 pm to 5 pm and the kitchen is open from 2 pm to 4 pm during this time.

I would like to remind everyone that the AJ Elks Annual 31 Guns in 31 Days raffle is back and has started.  There are only 600 tickets available & can be purchased for $50 at the Lodge or online at ajelks.com/gun-raffle.  All of the money raised from this raffle is used to give scholarships to Seniors in Apache Junction Schools.

Remember, Prime Rib is back on the Friday night menu and the dining room is open with live music starting at 5 pm starring Jerry Barr and Judy.

Thank you for your continued support.

Respectfully,

Sherry Coker
